The Jeep Wrangler 4xe is a very recent creation, so we don’t expect the 2022 edition of this electric SUV to depart drastically from last year’s version. The manufacturer has also kept us in the dark when it comes to the official release date of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe in Montreal. Before its release, many believed that this Jeep SUV wouldn’t be able to match the great performance of the gasoline-powered models in the line-up. To our surprise, the electric Jeep Wrangler is in fact the most powerful ever Wrangler made.
We expected it to be more fuel efficient, and it is. But it also turns out that the 17.3 kWh battery, located in the center of the SUV, lowers its center of gravity. That means that the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe delivers a more stable ride with more responsive steering. Let’s take a look at its specs:
- Full-time 4×4 Selec-Trac or Rock-Trac systems;
- Dana front and rear axles;
- Front and rear anti-roll bars;
- Reinforced suspension ;
- Protective plates.
It also offers an autonomy of 40 km in all-electric mode, while its fuel consumption rating is of only 4.7 Le/100 km. Even better, Wrangler 4xe can reach 100 km/h in just 6 seconds.

Depending on the model you choose, your Wrangler 4xe can be equipped with a body-colour 3-piece hard top or a black Sunrider soft top as well as with 17- or 20-inch wheels. What’s more, all three models come standard with:

- An 8.4-inch touchscreen;
- LED ambient lighting;
- Leather upholstery;
- The GPS navigation system;
- A universal garage door opener.
Jeep Canada has not yet released the pricing of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe.
