Des Sources Chrysler, your Jeep dealer located in DDO near Montreal will soon present the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler equipped with an insane Jeep engine.
A 392 engine under the hood
Reports in the trade media suggest that the Rubicon version of the 2021 Wrangler will be powered by a 392 engine, a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 that produces 450 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. This HEMI V8 will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
2021 Jeep Wrangler’s 4×4 systems
While the 2021 Jeep Wrangler gets more power with its new engine, it still features its highly capable 4×4 systems with their 2-speed transfer case. The Command Trac 4×4 system is standard on the Wrangler Sport and Sahara, the Selec-Trac, with its continuously variable 4×4 transfer case, is available on the Sahara Unlimited, while the Rock-Track system is standard on the Wrangler Rubicon to work in conjunction with the 392 HEMI.
The 2021 Wrangler Rubicon’s off-road capabilities
In addition to its 392 HEMI engine and Rock-Trac 4×4 system, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon adds Dana 44 heavy-duty axles, front and rear locking differentials as well as an electronic disconnecting sway bar.
Depending on model, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler has approach, breakover and departure angles of respectively as high as 44 degrees, 27.8 degrees and 37 degrees. The Wrangler can also accommodate 33-inch tires.
Other improvements
The Sahara and Rubicon versions of the new 2021 Wrangler will come standard with the front camera that anticipates obstacles on the track so you can adjust your driving accordingly. The 2021 Wrangler Sport S will also come standard with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
